Portrait in Type

 

First I had to take a picture of myself from the school computer, however, I used a picture from the internet for the Portrait in Type. I had to trace the drawing with words, I went to adobe illustrator and started with the work, and after that, I had to trace all the different parts of the picture with small, big, and rotated words which were easy. I had to trace the eyes and every part of the face, I wanted the art to be different and stand out so I added some of my own art and made the drawing my style while still having some features of the original picture. Overall this art was one of my favorite things to do. I used abode to change the size of the words and rotate it to fit the drawing. The face had cures, for example, the jawline or the eyes I had to rotate the word to fit the face. I did more than just the face and neck, I was only supposed to create a face and neck however I added a body, arms, legs, and shoes, and I even added a building next to the character and added clouds.
